I think most of the business are actually still going looks like there is still demand for getting lifts to airports from the Swansea area. 

During Covid we didn't holiday at all but that all changes soon and whatever company we use will get a comprehensive review.

Wembley Stadium Travel Swansea Cup Final

Just a quick thought it might well be worth checking the companies offering their services for travel to the Wembley Stadium for the Cup Final game which the Swans have done amazingly well to get to!

I managed to get in early and get a minibus to Wembley when Swansea city played Reading in the Play Off final a few years back. Twice in one lifetime I never thought the Swans would ever get to where they are today.

Back on topic the trip to Wembley was great, better than a big 52 seater bus as you can plan your trip and stops with the driver if there are a smaller number of you. Much more flexible.

Travel to Norwich Airport

Recently booked a trip and we had to travel to Norwich Airport again used Kilvey Travel who cam out on top again with their price and service.

A friend of ours took their car and got a reasonable deal at Norwich Airport Parking with Purple Parking. On balance though I think the hassle free service of being to the door without worrying about parking the car and getting all the luggage in.

Kilvey Travel Swansea

This trip was to Gatwick again nine passengers and a minibus. Found them by just phoning around for prices. Kilvey tick almost all the boxes they were by far the cheapest quote so we were a little nervous but we need not have worried.

This time there was a trailer for luggage both the drivers (we had two different drivers) were really friendly. At the same time let us sleep on the return trip (tired after overnight flight).

If you wanted to stop you would ask how long and the reply was 'as much a time as you want, you are the customer'. Fantastic!

The minibus could have been a little cleaner and one minor gripe was that the driver has shortest route in his SatNav for the last 10 miles or so at the Gatwick Airport end. Which meant the journey was 20 minutes longer than it should have been.

Gower Travel Review

I am quoting this from personal experience last year we used Gower Travel and we ended up with a contractor. This transport to Heathrow in a Minibus for nine passengers.

Overall I would not recommend we have used cheaper companies in the past and I have no objection spending a bit more but for that you expect a little extra.

The main downside was that there was no trailer for luggage and with two small children in the back luggage flying around isn't safe by and stretch. This summed up the whole experience, slap dash chuck the cases in the back and that will do.

The minibus itself was not that clean, the driver grumpy every word he said seemed to be moaning about something.

They were on time and reliable so it was not a disaster but I am sure you can do better.
